IV Hydration
Specially formulated IV fluids are used to treat or prevent dehydration in patients who are sick or injured. Intravenous rehydration is a very common and safe procedure with minimal risk of complications when done in a clean and safe medical environment.
These fluids are injected directly into a vein through an IV drip and are often used to help treat:
- Fluids lost through vomiting and diarrhea
- Dehydration caused by heat or excessive exercise
- Serious injuries or burns
